Intro to TRE (Virtual)

Register Here

This workshop is intended for beginners to dive into the theory and practice of TRE and experience what it's like to practice Neurogenic Tremors. You'll get an email after registration to pay $88 for the workshop.

What is TRE?

Neurogenic Tremoring is an involuntary, non-pathological tremor originating in the brainstem, present in all mammals. Its natural function is to release emotional and physical tension following shock, trauma, stress, or intense experiences—including both challenging and positive ones. This mechanism allows the body to process and discharge both past and recent events, restoring balance to the nervous system.

In nature, mammals naturally tremor to regulate their systems, yet in most human cultures, this response is suppressed and poorly understood. Because tremoring is often misinterpreted as a sign of weakness, people have learned to override this response, disconnecting from a vital self-regulation tool that is hardwired into the body.

Neurogenic Tremoring has long been observed by therapists as a natural response in the body. However, it was Dr. David Berceli, PhD, who recognized its deep therapeutic potential. Through years of observation across cultures and backgrounds worldwide, he developed TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises)—a simple and effective method to activate the tremor reflex in most people.

What are the benefits of TRE?

Innate Healing Vibrations

With Neurogenic Tremoring you relax into the vibration and let it work through your body in its own, innate way, allowing it to release blockages you might hold, physical, emotional and spiritual.

Deep Relaxation

Neurogenic Tremoring allows you to relax deeply, to find peace and an inner quiet, and your body can release old patterns and tensions, and finds a new state of being and helps you to integrate this.

Nervous System Balance

By starting the tremor mechanism in your body you allow your autonomic nervous system to find balance in the sympathetic and parasympathetic tonus so you can move out out of a state of survival and into a state in calm alertness.
